Three unreleased pieces by Maria Teriaeva composed and recorded in 2016/2017 around the time she was working on her debut album, and just around the time she started learning her newly acquired Buchla synthesizer.

“Shine (Live)” is one of the first Easel live improvisations. It was played and recorded in Maria’s home studio, and was only available with the video on YouTube.

“Before” is a sketch that was lost on her computer and was never completed.

“GES - 2” is a piece composed for the Geometry of Now installation by the V-A-C Foundation in 2017. The following was written in the exhibition booklet: "The work of Maria Teriaeva, a Moscow-based artist and musician, is located directly at the entrance to the building. Visitors immediately encounter a synthetic sound created with the Buchla analog synthesizer; the sound penetrates outside into the street. Operating with location, direction and spectral density, the piece works on the boundaries of the building and identifies them, noting the process of entering space." The full name of the track and installation is “Looking at the historical maximum of GES-2 when it was functioning - 38,5 MW”.

Magic in its purest form. I love Floating Points, I love Pharoah Sanders, I love The London Symphony Orchestra. It's a match made in heaven, and the result is absolutely gorgeous.
